Handy Guide For Purchasing Dog Crate Pads

Almost every dog owner needs a dog crate. They provide your furry friend a place to curl up and relax. You will also need one if you plan to travel with your pet. Dogs in a crate will receive less injuries in a car accident than those without a crate. A dog should never be left alone in a parked car, even if you crack the windows and return quickly. It is not a good idea to make your dog spend too much time in a crate.

A dog crate is a way to give your dog a safe and calming place to go. Dogs are den animals by nature and like to have their own space. Having a dog crate allows you to create the small private space your dog desires. Your crate should be large enough so that your dog will be comfortable standing and laying in the crate. Measure your dog before buying a dog crate. You will need to add three inches to your dogs measurements to get the right size crate.

When buying a create for a puppy you can purchase a divider panel to give your puppy a cozy space while it is small. Potty training a puppy is much easier if you have a dog crate. Puppies will not soil the area where they sleep if they can avoid it. It can also be a great way to keep puppies from destructive behavior when puppy needs to be home alone.

Your dog will be much more comfortable in the crate if you add a crate pad. A dog crate pad will also help protect your dog from injuring itself while in the crate. Dog crate pads can make your dog’s crate comfortable as well as safe. Select a crate pad that is allergy free and machine washable. The soft padding can create a natural den like atmosphere for your dog and reduce barking while the dog is in the crate.

Oats

Oats

Oats has been widely known for its health benefits and its high nutrition value. It has the property to lower the cholesterol and has therefore made into the human diet. The outer covering of oats is called oat bran and is claimed to lower the low-density lipoprotein cholesterol which increases the risk of heart attacks. Oats are also not easily digested and that results in a feeling of fullness for a longer period. A trend of consuming oats began after there were reports that claimed oats reduce cholesterol. Oats contains globulin and contains the maximum amount of protein among cereals. Globulins give oats the property to dissolve in water and hence its ability to turn into milk but not into bread. Oats are the source of coeliac disease, a bowel-related disease when one cannot digest gluten. Although some studies suggest that the gluten is present in oats due to the fact that it is grown along with wheat, rye, and barley. There is a high risk of contamination of the oats and hence the presence of gluten in them. Post World War II it was suspected that gluten found in wheat was the cause for coeliac disease. As the common contaminants of oats are barley, wheat, and rye – which have high concentrations of gluten – oats were considered toxic to human beings.
